Courtney Danielle Christie’s "Bio"
Courtney Danielle Christie’s passion for music began as early as age five when she began taking piano lessons. Shortly after she began, family finances became challenged resulting in her lessons ending. Courtney, however, continued to practice daily. In a short matter of time she was playing the piano very well, and in addition to that, she not only taught herself to play the guitar, but also the bass guitar and drums. At the tender age of twelve, she assumed the role of musical director for recording artist, Sheila Denise. She served in this role for six years, resigning only after completing high school. Upon completion of high school, her passion for music led her to attend Southeastern University (SEU) where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with an Emphasis in Piano. Desiring to further prepare herself to serve as a music producer, she earned an Associate of Science in Music Production Technology at Daytona State College (DSC). During her first semester at DSC she was the pianist for the jazz band ensemble. Courtney enjoys studio work, having co-produced the single, “Shine” by Sheila Denise, and playing most of the instruments on the song. Continuing her passion of music, she has added the Hammond organ to the list of instruments she plays. She continues to be an amazing, musical extraordinaire who serves her generation well!
